Musharna has no Mega form, but its 116 HP / 107 SpA / 95 SpD bulk gives it a legitimate niche. The 29 Speed is near-floor, so it needs Trick Room or to absorb hits before retaliating. Without a Mega boost it faces stiff competition from other Psychic-type walls, but it can carve out a role on dedicated slow teams.
Playstyle:Runs as a Trick Room attacker or support tank. With 116 HP it can absorb a hit before firing back with Psychic or setting up with Calm Mind. Healing Wish is a key utility option to revive a teammate's HP. Its Fighting immunity and super-effective coverage on Poison types let it reliably switch into certain threats — but it is entirely dependent on Trick Room support to function.
In doubles Musharna can serve as a Trick Room setter or slow attacker with decent bulk. Its 116 HP survives common spread moves, and 107 SpA is threatening under TR. Pure Psychic typing leaves it exposed to Dark, Ghost, and Bug coverage that doubles players often pack, so it fits only on dedicated Trick Room teams.
Playstyle:Acts as the Trick Room setter or a secondary attacker on slow teams. Yawn can force switches in doubles, and Healing Wish provides a free full-heal for a teammate. Needs a partner that covers Dark and Ghost threats to function — pairing with a Fairy or Dark-type teammate is strongly recommended.
