Daisuke built around Mega Dragalge, pairing it with Corviknight to use Flip Turn and U-turn for safe pivoting into fast attackers. Hisuian Samurott (Adamant, AS) was chosen as the speed attacker to deal with Ghost-types that Corviknight can't touch, and to cleanly beat Mimikyu. Mega Floette covers the special Dragon weakness and can outspeed Archaludon. Sinistcha handles physical attackers broadly with Strength Sap and Iron Defense, while Skeledirge takes Blaziken hits and uses Encore for setup control. The author notes the core faced environmental headwinds this season but excelled at handling Mega Raichu and Mega Charizard Y that typical cycle teams struggle with.Build article →
This is a matchup team built around Mega Feraligatr. Vanilluxe and Staraptor pull opponents into predictable picks and Feraligatr itself baits Fairies, which makes team preview unusually easy. Only Gengar or Staraptor ever lead: Staraptor's job is to chip the opponent into range of the back line's priority moves, and even if Final Gambit gets blocked by a Ghost that is fine, because it lets Snorlax or Vanilluxe come in and start a Yawn sequence. Snorlax is the key pivot — Thick Fat plus huge bulk erases bad openings entirely — and it also uses Yawn, Gunk Shot and Ice Punch to push targets into Feraligatr's range, with Fissure often just solving the game. Un-Megaed Feraligatr is already bulky enough to find Swords Dance windows, after which Aqua Break and Aqua Jet are nearly unstoppable, and that is how most Primarina and Sylveon died. Hydreigon is a specialist that uses Umbreon and BelliBuild article →

The team is built around a bulky Mega Raichu that the author found in a MCS2026-6 article, addressing the durability issues he had with a Speed-Special Attack set. The core lead of Meowscarada + Raichu + Hippowdon was preserved from the reference build, with Metagross swapped for Kangaskhan and Basculegion replaced by Primarina for better head-to-head matchups. Primarina's key contribution was Psychic Noise, which shut down recovery-stacking opponents and enabled Raichu to clean up; Kangaskhan handled Fire-types that Metagross could not. The author admits the team relied heavily on paralysis luck in the late season and was fortunate to avoid Baton Pass or minimize-spam teams.Build article →
This whole team was borrowed wholesale from another player, so the author skips build reasoning and just shares impressions from reaching Champion rank for the first time — it became a rain team after a random scout pull turned out far stronger and faster than expected. Garchomp, Meowscarada, and Metagross get picked together about 80% of the time; against Aegislash or Gholdengo, which trouble Metagross, the author leans on that pair instead, with Garchomp also Taunting Archaludon, its own worst matchup, to set Metagross up. Mega Gengar, Sylveon, and especially Mega Floette (which both preferred leads are weak to) were rough, often needing Garchomp to chip damage before the back line could close it out. The author credits the result mostly to the borrowed team and is aiming for a top-99 finish next season.Build article →
The team was built around Lucario throughout the season. The author judged that in an environment heavy with Garchomp, Basculegion, Starmie, and Delphox, setting up Lucario as a full sweeper is too risky, so the goal shifted to landing Lucario on favorable matchups using Yawn, Flip Turn, and U-turn pivots. Hydreigon blocks Ground-type coverage and pivots into Basculegion and similar threats; Empoleon cushions Basculegion, Starmie, and Delphox while also breaking stall loops; Hippowdon is the premier physical wall using Slack Off against Scarf Garchomp and Mega Lopunny; Gyarados handles defensive cycling with Waterfall; Ceruledge completes the team as an answer to Corviknight, Venusaur, and the Fighting-type coverage gaps—it also lets Lucario land safely against Florges. The team performed well on the final day but the author chose to lock in the ranking rather than risk dropping further.Build article →
The whole team revolves around a Curse-Baton-Pass plus White Herb Unburden chain: Sylveon drops its Speed with Curse, Baton Passes to Sneasler, the Herb triggers Unburden for doubled Speed and boosted offenses, and Sneasler sweeps from an angle the opponent never sees. Leads are Stealth Rock setters that avoid lead disadvantage, Archaludon or Garchomp, with Sylveon as the relay. Sneasler is the true ace (Fatal Claw, Close Combat, Drain Punch, Swords Dance), picked over 80% of games. Two Megas patch gaps: Mega Gyarados uses Taunt and Dragon Dance to bully Hippowdon and break Meowscarada via Mold Breaker, while Mega Scizor, added in the final three days, answers Mega Venusaur and the Hippowdon-Meowscarada pair. The author admits it's a one-ace build, so losing Sneasler usually loses; worst matchups are Mega Victreebel, Mega Venusaur with Skeledirge, Mega Scovillain, and Garchomp with Mega Build article →
The author has a personal rule that Sneasler must be on the team, so its set came first: Focus Sash and Life Orb both lose to Megas and Choice Scarf runs into Poison and Fighting immunities, so it ended up on a Sitrus Berry Swords Dance ace set. To make Sneasler easier to bring, Basculegion and Mega Delphox were added to bait out opposing Dark types. The lead is a max Speed, max Special Attack Sturdy Archaludon holding a White Herb so it can throw Draco Meteor freely and still trade one-for-one with a teammate's priority even when it loses the exchange. Mega Victreebel started as a placeholder second Mega but its ability to drag opponents down with it, plus enough raw power, made it a de facto second core, and it happens to be strong against the Hippowdon and Garchomp that Sneasler hates. Mimikyu covers setup teams and Staraptor. The author says the intended baiting worked and Sneasler sBuild article →

This is a Ghost mono team built around Trick Room. Mimikyu is the TR setter, and the main hitter is Adamant Basculegion holding Spell Tag: with Adaptability its Curse-boosted Haunted Fortress one-shots uninvested Mega Blastoise and Mega Charizard X, while Substitute blocks status and Sucker Punch. Houndstone is the second TR sweeper, packing Play Rough to punch through dark cores like Hydreigon/Metagross/Mimikyu that Basculegion can't. Mega Banette runs Prankster with SpDef tuned to survive Hydreigon's Dark Pulse, leading against special threats like Greninja, Gengar, Char-Y and Gholdengo; Swords Dance was added because Sitrus Primarina teams often tank a second Poltergeist. The main lead is Banette + Mimikyu + Basculegion/Houndstone, swapping to a Mega Sableye + Annihilape + Basculegion stall core against bulky builds. Author says the burst damage and special-lead matchup are strong, but healing walls like Primarina blunt the follow-up. Finished 840th.Build article →
The team revolves around Mega Blastoise as the main setup sweeper using Shell Smash, supported by Mega Blaziken as a second Mega threat. Midseason the author added Wood Hammer to Mimikyu and Overqwil's toxic spikes to handle the rampant Hippowdon-Primarina-Mimikyu cores. A sleep-inducing Mega Gengar and Archaludon were added to patch coverage gaps. The author is blunt that this is a flawed team: Hippowdon, Primarina, and Mimikyu all hard-wall Blastoise; using both Megas forced awkward team preview choices; and late-season the strategy devolved into sleep-fishing openers with immediate forfeits on misses, which the author admits is a long-standing mental weakness.Build article →
Build article →
