The author built around Glimmora + Kingambit + Corviknight, a trio that worked well at the end of last season. Mega Froslass was added next to set dual screens, beef up the team's bulk, and pressure the Garchomp that Glimmora tends to draw. Scarf Garchomp came in to outspeed Scarf Vivillon, which would otherwise sleep Froslass for free, and Farigiraf with Roar rounds it out against Perish Song, rain and Trick Room. The plan is to lead Froslass + Glimmora to set screens, Stealth Rock and toxic chip, then close with Kingambit and Corviknight; Stealth Rock plus Sucker Punch even KOs bulky Charizard. Kingambit runs Black Glasses and Supreme Overlord, with Low Kick added because the team otherwise has no answer to opposing Kingambit. Leftovers Corviknight with Protect and Roost almost never finds a clean break in this format and often wins games alone. The author wanted to build around Tyranitar + Excadrill because the pair handles two top-meta threats, Charizard and Floette, very well. He first tried Mega Dragonite as the Garchomp answer, but rising Garchomp speeds (169) outran it and moveslots got tight, so after seeing another player's list he slotted in Dragapult as the lead — Draco Meteor OHKOs Garchomp, it walls Sneasler, ignores Fake Out, and its Will-O-Wisp plus Light Screen shut down the physical-heavy meta. The Mega slot moved to Dragon Dance Tyranitar, which under sand + Light Screen support from Sinistcha is bulky enough to survive Mega Floette's Ruination and sweep back. Excadrill on Sash covers Fairy/Steel, Sylveon adds a special hitter that ignores Incineroar's Intimidate, and Bulk Up Body Press Corviknight closes games against Kingambit. The author copied a PJCS finalist's perish-song team — Mega Gengar, Incineroar, Politoed, Sinistcha, Archaludon, Froslass — and finished 290th at 2242 in Champions Doubles M-2, hitting Champion rank. Core idea: treat Perish Song not just as a KO move but as a board-clear and setup-reset tool, and chain delayed second perishes. Mega Gengar is the absolute centerpiece, aiming to fire Perish Song up to three times per match; being switched out once doesn't hurt. Politoed was the MVP — its bulk plus Sinistcha's Hospitality lets Hypnosis flip almost any losing matchup. Sinistcha (Hospitality + Rage Powder) smoothly bridges the perish phase into Archaludon's wincon, and a Leftovers Archaludon stacking Electro Shot becomes untouchable. Downsides: Incineroar's usage dropped because Sinistcha alone bridges perish→Archaludon; Froslass is read easily and only came out against Hisuian Zoroark or threats to Gengar's HP. ダブルのガチトリル構築。リキキリンとガオガエンの初手で確実にトリックルームを成功させ、ケケンカニ・特殊メガバクーダ・ドドゲザンといった低速高火力で全抜きするのがコンセプト。ヤバソチャは後から入れたメタ枠で、猫騙しで止められる相手は限られ、ゴーストの挑発や封印でトリルを潰されるのが重いため、その対策を一任した。耐久特化＋耐熱でメガリザYを耐え、トリックルーム・シャカシャカほう・いかりのこなで攻撃を引きつけ、ふういんで相手の封印を封じて安全に展開、ビビヨン・アマージョ・リキキリンにも安定する。選出は初手リキキリン＋ガオガエンがほぼ固定で、イダイトウには必ずドドゲザン、スコヴィランのような特殊にはメガバクーダで安全に処理する。構築記事 →
