Without Terastallize, they added Mega Froslass to pair with Kommo-o, using Assist Power and Blizzard in the lead to build a damage advantage. Kommo-o is the front-row anchor, tanking almost everything and looping Scale Noise; Mega Froslass deals spread Blizzard damage and uses Protect to buy time and boost Kommo-o's attack with Assist Power. Choice Scarf Tyranitar is a fixed back-row sweeper, and its Sand Stream enables Excadrill's Sand Rush speed doubling. Sneasler subs for Kommo-o against Fairy types, using Fake Out, Fatal Claw, and Feint. Hisuian Zoroark is a niche lead disguised as a slow Trick Room or Scizor counter, used in about 10% of games. Near season's end, Mega Lopunny was added to handle the rising Charizard plus Aerodactyl combination. The author started from a Mega Blastoise plus Maushold Shell Smash sweep, but it got shut down too easily by Mega Floette, Mega Charizard Y and double water-resist leads, so they built this disguise support team. The lead is Maushold plus Blastoise: it looks like Shell Smash is coming, but Blastoise instead Fake Outs to lock the field while a Wide Lens Technician Maushold snipes the Mega Floette or Charizard Y sent to chip the turtle, taking them out immediately. Blastoise holds the only Mega, supports with Fake Out, then trades with its wide coverage and bulk; Ice Beam replaced Water Spout for better coverage and to OHKO Garchomp. Sinistcha uses Imprison to block enemy Trick Room, Focus Sash Whimsicott sets Tailwind, and Kingambit plus Choice Scarf Basculegion clean up from the back, with the scarfed fish leading against Sneasler. This is a short memo post: the author only ever played Singles, but breeding got much easier in Champions so he tried Doubles, scraping into the final Champion rank after two or three seasons, and calls that nothing to brag about. The team is a stock dual-weather template found online, so he says there is little to say about the build itself, beyond tuning Speed on Charizard, Pelipper and Archaludon to win mirror-match speed ties, while Swampert was built for bulk since it rarely gets sent out in mirrors. Pelipper and Archaludon are essentially locked picks, Charizard's rain-boosted Weather Ball is the kind of move that decides games outright, and Sleep Powder bails him out in a pinch.
