The author started from a Mega Blastoise plus Maushold Shell Smash sweep, but it got shut down too easily by Mega Floette, Mega Charizard Y and double water-resist leads, so they built this disguise support team. The lead is Maushold plus Blastoise: it looks like Shell Smash is coming, but Blastoise instead Fake Outs to lock the field while a Wide Lens Technician Maushold snipes the Mega Floette or Charizard Y sent to chip the turtle, taking them out immediately. Blastoise holds the only Mega, supports with Fake Out, then trades with its wide coverage and bulk; Ice Beam replaced Water Spout for better coverage and to OHKO Garchomp. Sinistcha uses Imprison to block enemy Trick Room, Focus Sash Whimsicott sets Tailwind, and Kingambit plus Choice Scarf Basculegion clean up from the back, with the scarfed fish leading against Sneasler. The author built around the Charizard-plus-Floette core that stays strong in the M-B format, aiming to beat the more common Blastoise and Delphox. Whimsicott runs max Speed for the mirror and holds a Pixie Plate so Moonblast hits Garchomp harder, playing safe support with Encore, Protect, and Tailwind. A surprise Life Orb Sneasler one-shots things like Mega Scovillain with Fatal Claw and adds Rock Slide for bulky Charizard. Charizard is invested to the max in bulk, while Floette boosts Whimsicott's power with Light of Ruin and Fairy Aura. Basculegion holds a Maranga Berry and just wins with Grave sweeps, and is also strong into sand. A Focus Sash all-out Kingambit hits the same Speed as max Delphox under Tailwind. Playing his beloved Mega Mawile in doubles, the author reached final rank 163 and his first Champion-tier finish. He dropped a slow Trick Room plan in favor of a back-end Sucker Punch sweep: max-Attack, slowest-base-60 Mawile locks one target with Sucker Punch while its partner attacks freely. Dragonite leads, using Extreme Speed to move over Whimsicott's Prankster Encore, with Leftovers longevity and Substitute to absorb chip; the author dubs it the MVP. Sneasler handles Fairies and Steels, and Coaching plus Dragonite crushed the popular support-Delphox teams. Choice Scarf Gholdengo with Trick plus Disable neutralizes Archaludon, pairing with Annihilape to remove Kingambit. Mega Froslass stalls rain teams via Aurora Veil and Disable, while Incineroar's Intimidate boosts the team's bulk and provides a pivot for Trick Room matchups.
